UMass Amherst: Audio Engineering Society

"Audio engineering is a part of audio science dealing with the recording and reproduction of sound through mechanical and electronic means. The field draws on many disciplines, including electrical engineering, acoustics, psychoacoustics, and music."

-Wikipedia

There is an effort going on at UMass with the goal of creating ties between the ECE track and audio engineering. For now, this means searching for any audio related classes, people, and resources in the Five Colleges. These finds will then be cataloged in both this blog and a facebook group.

The hope is that we will be able to open up an audio engineering thematic track as well as a UMass chapter of the Audio Engineering Society.
